Jettainer opens new office in Abu Dhabi

source:transportweekly author: time:2014-04-14

Jettainer, the world??s leading service partner for outsourced unit load device (ULD) services, has opened a new office in the Abu Dhabi Airport Business City??s Logistics Park. Carsten Hernig, new Managing Director of Jettainer GmbH, and representatives from Abu Dhabi Airports took

part in the ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating the strong growth Jettainer achieved in the Middle East region by serving Etihad Airways.

The concept of having local offices is very transparent: Jettainer establishes offices at the customers?? international hubs in order to more efficiently communicate with the operative departments of the airlines in terms of managing pallets and containers for both passenger and cargo aircrafts. ??Due to the positive development we are facing in the Middle East and Asia regions, we decided to open a local office in Abu Dhabi in order to assure smooth operational processes at any time and of course to be ready for further growth with existing and potential new customers,?? said Carsten Hernig. ??We are expecting a huge potential in the whole Asia-Pacific region,?? he continued.

Furthermore, Jettainer added Abu Dhabi to its network of short term leasing stations. By choosing the so-called JettLease product, airlines are able to immediately lease units stationed in Abu Dhabi around the clock from one day up to several months.
