China's block on the proposed P3 vessel-sharing allowance of Maersk, MSC and CMA CGM, has the Danish shipping line scrambling to revise four of its five Asia-north Europe services, to find employment for its mega ships, according to Shipping Gazette.

Maersk, the world's largest shipping line, is now amending sailings to Asia this month, changes that will affect the following strings:

On the AE1, port calls at Rotterdam and Zeebrugge have been swapped, reported Alphaliner.

The new rotation is: Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Colombo, Singapore, Yantian, Kobe, Nagoya, Yokohama, Ningbo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Felixstowe

For the AE2, calls at Ningbo and Le Havre have been removed.

The new rotation is: Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Singapore, Busan, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Rotterdam.

The AE6 westbound will call at Le Havre while calls at Bremerhaven, Valencia, Hong Kong and Cai Mep have been ditched.

The string that was previously operated as part of the AE6/TP6 pendulum service has been shortened by cutting the transpacific leg.

The new port rotation is: Le Havre, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Le Havre, Tangier, Salalah, Tanjung Pelepas, Nansha, Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Tangier, Le Havre.
Eastbound calls on the AE7 at Tanjung Pelepas, Cai Mep, Yantian and Hong Kong have been included as the string has been lengthened with the addition of a transpacific leg to become the AE7-TP6 pendulum.

The revised rotation is: Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Goteborg, Rotterdam, Jebel Ali, Tanjung Pelepas, Cai Mep, Nansha, Yantian, Hong Kong, Vostochny (bunkering), Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Nansha, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Colombo, returning to Felixstowe.
